Devious Journal Entry

Dear Illusionists,

Reality may be an illusion, carefully crafted by the actions and perceptions of yourself and those around you, but it is important to remember that some peoples actions or perceptions can be frightful and damaging. These actions, like the ones that happened in Boston, have great power on the illusions that the world shares. From these actions, two things can come. More sorrow, destruction and hatred, or hope, construction and compassion.

Please remember, while who is responsible for these actions deserve to be held accountable, we should also remember to support those that are effected and hurting from this. We should not give into the mindless sorrows that can consume us or the unmitigated hatred that can eat away at our souls and continue to pollute this illusion that has the chance to continue to strive and be beautiful.

Lend support where you can and where it's needed. If the need isn't there at that moment, look elsewhere to provide support. Be this support through volunteering, financial, blood or blood products (double red blood cells, plasma, etc.), or simply keeping those effected in your thoughts. Spread the positive and joyous illusions that this world needs, especially in times like these.
